About PDCPDhub

PDCPD (polydicyclopentadiene) parts are made by reaction injection molding: two low-viscosity liquids are mixed and injected at low pressure, so PDCPD molds are lighter, often aluminium, and sized very differently from thermoplastic injection molds.

These calculators collect the empirical formulas used day to day in PDCPD mold development by Inno Future PDCPD Molds, a PDCPD-RIM mold specialist with ten years of tooling experience. New to PDCPD tooling? Start with PDCPD mold design basics.

Use with engineering judgement

Results are estimates from empirical rules, not a substitute for mold-flow analysis or supplier data. Two source units (Q in the molding calculator and the demolding force) are still unconfirmed and are flagged where they appear.
